Design & Craftsmanship

The Olympus takes the four-poster bed many people grew up with and gives it a lighter, more current shape. Round iron posts anchor each corner, each one capped with a ball finial, and a fully upholstered panel sits between the head posts where a traditional bed would have spindles or castings.

The footboard sits low at just over 29 inches, so the bed doesn’t block sightlines or crowd a smaller room. Below the mattress, a metal profile frame runs around the bed for a finished, tailored edge.

Each Olympus is built to order by Wesley Allen’s iron artisans on a heavy-duty welded steel frame, then finished with a hand-applied powder coat that is baked on for depth of color and long-term durability.

Choose from more than 30 iron finishes and a wide range of Wesley Allen fabrics, Revolution performance fabrics and vinyls for the headboard panel, or send your own material. Order it on a frame that works with a standard box spring or adjustable base, or on a platform frame with solid wood slats that needs no box spring.
