Carl Muller’s Circa takes the barrel chair — one of the most comfortable shapes in seating — and thins it down to counter-stool proportions. The upholstered back sweeps all the way around and then passes through the seat cushion rather than stopping at it, which is what gives the stool its single, uninterrupted profile.
