Product Description
The Darafeev 965 Maple Backless Swivel Bar Stool is sized for spaces where every inch counts. Its 17” square footprint fits tight islands and peninsulas without crowding. Despite its compact size, the 965 has the same 3 1/2” cushioned seat and solid maple construction as Darafeev’s larger stools.
Small Footprint, Full Comfort
Fit an extra seat along your counter without sacrificing comfort. The 965 swivels smoothly and tucks completely under the countertop when not in use.
Handcrafted from Solid Maple
Each 965 is built to order from solid maple and finished by hand in Darafeev’s Southern California factory. Choose from more than two dozen maple finishes, from light Dune and Ledge Rock to rich Espresso, Matte Black and hand-distressed tones.
Comfort That Lasts
The 3 1/2” seat pairs high-resiliency foam with suspension seating, and the upholstery is pulled tight so the cushion keeps its shape through years of daily use.
Smooth 360° Swivel
A smooth 360° swivel makes it easy to turn toward the conversation or step away from the counter without sliding the stool.
Customized for Your Space
Upholster the seat in Darafeev fabric, Crypton performance fabric, vinyl, or genuine leather in two grades and add an optional metal footplate. Swatches for every option are shown below.
