Product Description
The Darafeev 938 Maple Backless Swivel Bar Stool proves a compact stool can still be comfortable. A 3 1/2” cushioned suspension seat sits on a solid maple base with a full footrest ring. With a 19” square footprint and no back, the 938 slides fully under a counter or bar, keeping walkways clear in busy kitchens.
Made to Tuck Away
When it isn’t in use, the 938 tucks out of sight, making it ideal for peninsulas, tight kitchens and bars where you want seating without visual clutter.
Handcrafted from Solid Maple
Each 938 is built to order from solid maple and finished by hand in Darafeev’s Southern California factory. Choose from more than two dozen maple finishes, from light Dune and Ledge Rock to rich Espresso, Matte Black and hand-distressed tones.
Comfort That Lasts
The 3 1/2” seat pairs high-resiliency foam with suspension seating, and the upholstery is pulled tight so the cushion keeps its shape through years of daily use.
Smooth 360° Swivel
A smooth 360° swivel makes it easy to turn toward the conversation or step away from the counter without sliding the stool.
