Product Description
The Darafeev 438 Oak Backless Swivel Bar Stool takes the classic tavern bartender stool and builds it to last, in solid oak with a 3 1/2” cushioned suspension seat. Its 19” square footprint slides completely under a counter or bar, while oak’s open grain gives it a warm, traditional look.
Classic Bartender Styling
Backless stools have long been the choice behind the bar for their easy on, easy off design. The 438 keeps that simplicity and adds the comfort of a thick upholstered seat.
Handcrafted from Solid Oak
Each 438 is built to order from solid oak and finished by hand in Darafeev’s Southern California factory. Oak’s open grain shows through finishes like Honey, Tudor, Tobacco and Rustic Pewter for a warm, traditional look.
Comfort That Lasts
The 3 1/2” seat pairs high-resiliency foam with suspension seating, and the upholstery is pulled tight so the cushion keeps its shape through years of daily use.
Smooth 360° Swivel
A smooth 360° swivel makes it easy to turn toward the conversation or step away from the counter without sliding the stool.
Customized for Your Space
Upholster the seat in Darafeev fabric, Crypton performance fabric, vinyl, or genuine leather in two grades and add an optional metal footplate. Swatches for every option are shown below.
