The 660 is constructed from select American hardwood using solid oak for its strength, durability, and distinctive natural character. Darafeev combines traditional woodworking craftsmanship with a detailed multi-step finishing process designed to enhance and protect the wood.

Suspension Seating for Enhanced Comfort
What really separates the Darafeev 660 from an ordinary wood bar stool is its seating construction.
Instead of relying solely on foam placed over a rigid seat base, the 660 incorporates suspension seating beneath its high-resiliency foam cushion. The suspension system provides additional support and flexibility as you sit, creating a softer, more responsive seating experience.
The 3 1/2-inch cushion is carefully upholstered for a smooth, tailored appearance while helping maintain its shape over time.
Supportive High Back and Arms
A generously sized high back provides additional support while the solid wood arms create a comfortable place to rest your arms. Darafeev also incorporates environmentally responsible practices throughout its manufacturing operations, with an emphasis on reducing waste, recycling materials, and producing furniture designed for long-term use rather than replacement.
Nylon glides are included on the bottom of the feet to help protect flooring, with additional felt protection recommended where appropriate.

Genuine Top Grain Italian Leather Selection – Saloon is a semi-aniline leather with a waxy crackle effect. The distinctive qualities of this article are its smooth, silky hand feel and its gentle matte finish. Saloon has been designed to resist scratching and has virtually no color variation.
