How long does it take to get my stools? Normal shipping is five working days. During the summer the plant closes from July 23rd to August 8th. Placing the order during this time allows you to be first in production once the plant re-opens.
How can I see physical samples of metal, fabric, and wood colors that are available on barstools?
Once you decide on the bar stool model and height you like, you can place the order over the phone with us using your credit card, but we will hold the order until we send you swatches for you to see. Once you decide, just let us know and send the swatch back to us and we will place the order.
How can I ensure that the barstools I order are going to be comfortable?
All of the barstools sold online do vary in comfort, but all are very comfortable to start with. To figure out which one is best for you, it may be helpful to give us a call and we would be glad to decribe in detail the stool's level of comfort as well as its specific measurements.
Do all barstools come with a swivel? What is a memory swivel?
Yes. Unless labeled with the word "Stationary" all barstools come standard with a regular 360 degree swivel. However, you may wish to have a memory swivel instead of the regular swivel. A memory swivel is a swivel that returns to the same position every time you get up from sitting on the stool. Also, a stool with a memory swivel will only rotate 90 degrees to the right and 90 degrees to the left. The memory swivel costs an additional $19.99 per stool.
Is it difficult to assemble the stools once they arrive?
No. Assembly is very easy, and easy-to-read instructions are included with every stool. Also , if you have any questions while you are putting one together, feel free to give us a call and we can guide you in the right direction.
How long will it take me to receive my order?
All orders usually ship from the manufacturer within five business days. The number of days it takes once ships depends on your location, but should not be more than 8 to 10 more business days. So, about three weeks from the day you order the stools online. Due to the summer closer of the plant from July 23rd to August 8th. It will take extra time depending on date ordered. Please call customer service if you need the stools at a certain date.
Who is the carrier that delivers the stools to my home or business?
UPS delivers all orders placed through

Do I have to sign for the packages(s) when they arrive?
No. UPS usually leaves the boxes on your doorstep without requiring anybody to sign for the packages(s).
Should I reject the delivery? What if one or more of the boxes arrive damaged?
No. Rejecting the pacage means that it could take longer to replace the order. Even if the box is damaged upon arrival, go ahead and accept it. Then, carefully inspect the stool after UPS leaves. If there are any damages(such as scratches, dents, tears, etc.) call us and we will arrange for replacements parts, or if necessary, we will replace the entire stool. Replacing just one part of the stool is usually faster than replacing the entire stool.
If a stool is damaged, may I still use it until Barstool Designs sends us replacement parts, and do I have to return the damaged part(s)?
Yes, you may still assemble the stool(s) in their damaged state, if possible, and use them until the replacemnt part(s) arrive. You do not have to return the damaged part (s).
Is it possible to orderd only one barstool?
Yes. You may order any quantity of stools you choose.
Once you check out online, there will be an option to change the quantity that you wish to purchase.
What if I order a barstool and then decide later to change the seat color? Could I order seats separately without buying a new stool?
Yes. WE can special order any seat color that is available online. The cost varies, but significantly lower than purchasing a new stool.
Can I order Trica products that are not shown on your web site?
Barstool Designs offer all barstool that are available through The Trica's Express line. If you have seen something made by Trica that you want to order, but it is not on this wed site, just give us a call and we can tell you if it is still available. For example,, we can also order Trica tables for you, even though they are not pictured on the site.
